Has Our Messiah Arrived?

February 12th, 2009

If you listen to all the hubbub in the news lately, you’d swear that our Great National Savior has finally arrived in the person of President Barrack Obama.  We are promised a better economy, universal healthcare, a sharing of the wealth, world peace, and in general, a happier world to live in.  So why don’t I feel the relief that I should feel when “The Great One” has finally taken his post and firmly has all matters in hand?

The truth is, actually I feel just the opposite.  I feel like this country has hit near bottom and as former presidential candidate Ross Perot warned us, that sucking sound is actually jobs leaving America.  Well, Mr. Perot was right.  They are leaving and have been leaving our shores at an alarming rate.  The sucking sound has just about stopped because by now, almost all our jobs are gone to foreign lands.  That, my friends, results in unemployment and suffering.  Those other countries are growing more and more wealthy.  Yes, we’ve just about hit bottom and landed right on our pompous national butt.  We are swiftly headed toward a prominent new place as the world’s newest third world country.

You’d better prepare for a different lifestyle because things won’t be the same as they have been, since we’re nearing the end of America as we know it.  Personally, I don’t think we just evolved into our national troubles by making bad economic decisions, I think it is the grand design of some entity that has the idea of bringing the United States of America down to it’s knees.  Sounds pretty wild, doesn’t it?  I know some people will label me as just another “conspiracy theorist”, but I really could care less.  You see, I know the truth, and I don’t mind telling you how I arrived at it.  Most people watch the TV panel talk shows, read the newspapers (which are quickly becoming a thing of the past), or they are watching the top news shows, to get their scoop on what’s coming ahead for us all.

But, if you study the Word of God you will see that the Almighty already knows what’s going to happen, and has even told us as much in a number one best seller publication called “The Bible”.  Why is it so hard for us to believe what God says about the coming events of this world?  The answer is very simple; they choose NOT to believe that a God exists.  They prefer to think that man is the highest form of intelligence (what a laugh) and that our destiny is in our own hands.  Quite frankly my friends, if I believed that, I would be a most miserable person.  That is probably why there are so many miserable people in the world today.

In the book of Daniel, there is the account of an ancient Iraqi king who was the head of the most powerful empire in the entire world.  But, he had a terrible dream that troubled him.  In his dream he saw a great and awesome image, whose head was of gold, it’s arms and chest were of silver, it’s belly was of brass, it’s legs were of iron, and it’s feet were of iron and clay mingled.

Well, to make a long story short, he called in all the magicians, astrologers, fortune-tellers, and soothsayers, but none of them could tell him his dream nor could they interpret it. Then, one of the Hebrew captives, a teenage boy named Daniel, was called in and he told the king the dream and the interpretation.  The revelation of King Nebuchadnezzar was actually God’s revelation to us today about what He has planned to take place in the world until the end of days.

At the end of the interpretation of the vision of the king, Daniel told the king that as he observed the great image (which represents the entire Gentile world rule from the days of Nebuchadnezzar until our present day), “thou sawest till that “a stone” was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them, and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.” Daniel chapter 2, verses 34 and 35, taken from the King James Authorized Version of the Holy Bible.

Now, what that means is simply this.  Throughout the centuries the world has been ruled by the gentile world kingdoms, but God’s Son is going to come onto the scene in these last days and totally destroy the Gentile world powers and set up His own kingdom.  His kingdom, according to the Bible, will last a thousand years and will be a righteous kingdom.  The Adamic curse of the earth will be lifted and the earth will produce in unbelievable bounty.  Sin will be held at bay and the whole earth will know world peace for a thousand years.  Sounds unbelievable, doesn’t it, but it is true.

If you know what to look for, you’ll know that this world has just about grown as wicked as it can be without the intervention of God Himself to break it up.  (Matt: 24:35-39) “Jesus said, “heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.  But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.  But as the days of Noah were so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.  For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” He also said in Luke 17:28 “Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded, but the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.”

In short, this whole world mess is about to come to an end.  It will neither be blamed nor accredited to Mr. Obama.  It is just that the “Times of the Gentiles” has about come to an end as prophesied by Daniel and so many other prophets.  Search your scriptures.  The answers are right there in the Bible.  Personally, I use the King James Authorized Version.  It never has been difficult to understand for me.
